Today I woke up happy. Very happy.
I'm happy to be able to reconnect with an old friend.
I'm happy to lay in bed with my cat and my boyfriend.
I'm even happy knowing that I have piles of homework to do today.

I'm happy because I'm here and because I'm able to talk to old friends with no bad blood spilt between us. I'm happy to have a roof over my head and a bed to lay on to spend time with my two biggest loves. I'm happy that I have an education and all the resources I need to succeed in learning. Others are not as fortunate as me, and today, I am celebrating happiness.
